The tools I use to run my business

This page includes affiliate links. If you click and purchase, I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you (in some cases, you’ll even save through these links). I only recommend tools I’ve used and love, or think you will love.

everyday essentials

CONVERTKIT – ConvertKit makes email marketing so simple. Advanced features and user-friendly. And their customer service ROCKS. I’ve tried others… they don’t compare.

CONVERTBOXShow personalised offers and opt-in forms to the right visitors at the right time. I’m only beginning to scratch the surface on what this tool can do! Get a limited time lifetime license when you join through my link!

CANVA PRO – My favorite tool for creating any graphics, whether for my website or social media. The Pro version saves me time and money and is worth every penny. It stores all of my brand colors and fonts (so I never have to look up hex codes) and lets me resize images with a single click. Use it for lead magnets, webinar slides, and more!

TAILWIND – This is what I use to schedule and automatically publish posts to Pinterest and Instagram at the best times for maximum engagement.

LASTPASSSave your passwords and they’re instantly available on all your devices. It’s essential for me and a godsend when working with VAs. Free or pro version available.

ASANA – Like making lists and checking them off as much as me? Then Asana is for you! Manage your tasks, launches, and more. I use the free version and love it.

website

SITEGROUND – Web hosting that’s fast and reliable. After 11 years on Bluehost (which I was happy with), I reluctantly switched because I needed something faster. I was able to migrate my sites easily (and free!) with their website migration tool. My site is now faster and more secure.

DIVI – WordPress theme that I use to build all of my websites. No need to spend thousands on web design and no coding required.

NAMECHEAP – Whenever it’s late at night and a brilliant business idea strikes, Namecheap is where I go to purchase the domain name. You know, just in case. 😉

other tools

CREATIVE MARKETIf you’re “graphically challenged”, this site is like crack. Get beautiful branding templates, logos, fonts, and more. Look for their bundles!

SOCIAL WARFARE – More than just stylish social share buttons. Set custom images, titles, and descriptions so when people share your content, it looks and reads the way you want.

launch & scale

KARTRA – Stop piecing together several pieces of software to run your business! Kartra is an all-in-one solution for hosting your course or membership that has several advanced features like email marketing, a built-in Deadline-type funnel, and more. Free 14-day trial here.

EVERWEBINAR – My favorite software for running evergreen webinars so you can sell your programs on autopilot! So easy to use – get a 60-day trial for just $1 and see for yourself!

THRIVECART – Create high converting checkout pages, upsells, sales funnels & more. I currently use Thrivecart for my templates and 1:1 service checkout pages. Right now, you can get a lifetime license with my link.

DEADLINE FUNNEL – If you’re using anything but Kartra and want to set up true scarcity in your evergreen launches, Deadline Funnel is essential.

TEACHABLE – Monetize your knowledge with unlimited online courses! Teachable will host them for you. Instant payouts, and the Pro plan allows you to create an affiliate program to help you sell your courses.

clients & coaching

THE CONTRACT SHOP – If you work with clients or need contracts for any part of your business, these contracts will save you time, money, and potential legal headaches!

CALENDLY – Schedule meetings without the back and forth “what time’s good for you?” emails. Sync it to your calendar and let clients book around your existing schedule.

video & audio

AT2020 USB MICROPHONE PACK – I studied audio engineering so I know a thing or two about microphones. This is a great, affordable microphone for your podcasting, webinars, livestreams, online course lessons, or other video sound. Comes with adjustable audio boom and headphones. I love this mic.

LOGITECH C922 WEBCAM – I didn’t realize how bad my built-in computer webcam was until I got this Logitech. WHAT. A. DIFFERENCE. The built-in mic isn’t bad either for everyday use such as Zoom calls. Otherwise, I use this camera and my AT2020 mic.

RING LIGHT – Light up your face for video so you look your best! This one that I use comes with 3 different color temperatures and adjustable brightness. Includes tripod and camera or phone holder. If you’re recording in low light or don’t have natural light in your room, this will make a huge difference.
